What the AI knowledge base does.
- Answers in plain language
You ask the question the way you'd ask a colleague.
- The source alongside
Under every answer you can see which document it comes from and, where possible, the page.
- Says so when it isn't there
If it can't find the answer, it should say so. That's how we set it up and that's how we test it.
- Hands off to a colleague
A question without an answer goes to the person you choose.
Questions we get a lot.
Is this the same as ChatGPT?
No. A general chatbot doesn't know your documents and answers from general knowledge. This assistant searches your documents first and names the source.
Can it make mistakes?
Yes. That's why the source is shown, so you can check it. For an important decision, read the source yourself.
Who can see what?
That can be set per group. We set it up so that a document meant for management doesn't show up in anyone else's answers, and test that before it goes live.
Can it go on my website too?
Yes, as a chat for customers. In that case it only uses the documents you approve for customers, and it says that it's an AI assistant.
